    THE BIGGER PICTURE

While City aren't prepared to spend so much on a player whose contract expires in under a year, they could be persuaded to up their bid if they can secure a fee for long-time shot-stopper Ederson, who wasn't named in the matchday squad for the 4-0 victory over Wolves on Saturday. However, they are struggling to get a satisfactory offer out of reported suitors Galatasaray.

  • DID YOU KNOW?

City's local rivals Manchester United were previously touted as potential suitors for Donnarumma, though it quickly emerged that the Red Devils aren't looking for a new goalkeeper during the final few weeks of the season despite major doubts looming over the abilities of Andre Onana and Altay Bayindir.
